Over the past 75 years, Young and Sons have been keeping up to date and building Diesel Engines for the nation. Young and Sons was started in John Young’s garage. It is now run by John’s sons and grandsons who have helped grow it into the 60,000 square foot facility it is today. Our Diesel Engine company rebuilt Diesel Engines, New Surplus Diesel Engines, Used Diesel Engines, and we have a full service machine shop and a wide variety of parts for our customers to choose from.

In addition to our custom built and rebuilt Diesel Engines, we stock and build almost every other make of Diesel Engines on the market! Among these are: Ford, John Deere, International, Isuzu, Mack, Perkins and Volvo engines. We also stock new surplus engines and good running used engines with low miles. When we rebuild our Diesel Engines, we bring them back to new as closely as possible. At Young and Sons, if a part is needed, we replace them with OEM or aftermarket parts depending on the needs and desires of each of our customers. All engines are tested and go through a screening process once the engine is build. All diesel engines meet OEM standards and are build to perform at the highest caliber of performance.
Since all of our Diesel Engines are custom built, the time varies depending on each engine. We have a variety of engines in stock, if this is the case, the engine can be shipped within days and arrive at your door fairly quickly. If we need to order parts or have the engine build to the customers requests, this could take anywhere from a week to a month, depending on the details and function of the Diesel Engines. We keep all of our customers in the loop and they are aware of the time frame from the beginning of the project.
