Our process for rebuild is dependent on the type of engine you are interested in. All of our Detroit Diesel Engines For Sale meets OEM specifications. At Young and Sons are rebuilding process consists of tearing down, machining and cleaning all equipment that we work on. We replace parts, as needed with either OEM or aftermarket parts depending on the individual needs for the customer.

Each Detroit engine we build or manufacture is different, therefore each time frame is dependent on the type of engine you desire. If we have the engine in stock, we can ship in as little as one or two days. If it is not in stock, the process may take a week to a month to complete. We are happy to speak with you about your individual needs and time frame request.
