About Our Rebuilt Diesel Engines
A rebuilt diesel engine is one that has been stripped, cleaned, and reassembled using either the original or replacement components (depending on the condition of the part.) The basic process used by our diesel engine rebuilders looks like this:
- The engine is completely disassembled down to the bare block
- All components are cleaned and detailed
- Every component is inspected for evidence of wear and/or defects
- Worn or damaged parts are replaced with new ones
- Cylinder bores are restored and valves are reground
- The engine is reassembled and tested
